Round 2, Day 11 – Sleepy Starts, Setbacks, and a Simple Path Forward

Even after 8 hours of sleep last night, I still woke up feeling groggy. This round of COMAD (Carnivore + OMAD) is hitting differently than earlier in the year—but maybe I’m just remembering the easier middle part, not the tough beginning. Either way, I’m committed to sticking with it this time—long enough to lose the weight and make future breaks less costly.

💤 Resetting Means Facing the Truth

You can’t fix what you don’t face.

Tonight I skipped cheese and just had meat and eggs. I’m hoping that helps kick-start weight loss again. I’m not giving myself any excuses this time. I’m going to give this phase of COMAD a real run.

Looking at the numbers today, I felt like I wanted to hit reset and start from Day 1 again. But that would be dishonest. This is where I am. The last two days off plan didn’t just slow me down—they wiped out over a week of progress.

So… I’m thinking about doing something bold. I might go NoMAD (No Meals A Day) for a few days as a hard reset. It’s a big step, but I know I can do it. My body loves fasting. My brain? Not always. But when the hunger fades, the peace kicks in. Simplicity. Clarity. Energy like no other. That’s the trade.

Daily Progress

Here’s how I’m doing today:

📉 Total Loss (in 11 days): -1.5 lbs (-0.7 kg)
📉 Average Loss Per Day: -0.14 lbs (-0.06 kg)

It’s not pretty. But it’s real. And I own it. The next decision matters more than the last one.

My numbers rebounded today, but they’re still under the danger line of 140/90. That’s a win I’ll take. I’ll keep tracking. The trend matters more than the dip.

I felt unusually hungry last night and ate a big carnivore meal—lots of meat and cheese. Maybe that’s why this number stayed high. Every round feels different. I thought I had this part figured out, but here I am learning again.

🌟 The Journey Isn’t Linear—But It’s Worth It

Curiosity keeps you learning. Discipline keeps you changing.

Every twist in the road teaches me something new. And yes, the teacher in me wants to have the answers. But the truth-seeker in me? He loves the mystery.

That’s why I keep going. Because in the end, I’ll have something worth sharing with you—real data, real lessons, real hope.

Don’t Start Over—Start Again, Right Now

You don’t need a clean slate. You just need a clean choice—today. Don’t wait for perfect. Don’t hit reset. Keep going from where you are. Every smart step forward rewrites the story. And this time, make it one you’re proud to tell.

Well, at least that’s what I’m telling myself. It deadens the blow a little bit, that I dealt myself last weekend.

See You Tomorrow! 😊

Warmly,
Paul
