Round 2, Day 53 – 💥 Running on Empty… but Winning Anyway!

😴 Three and a half hours of sleep. That’s all I got last night. And guess what? I still woke up feeling fantastic! Sure, I was moving a bit slow at first, but honestly, it blows my mind how much better my body handles this now.

BUT—let’s be real. I know from experience (yep, round one taught me well) that I can’t pull back-to-back late nights without paying the price. Sleep isn’t optional—it’s the fuel that makes everything else possible. Last night was a production grind that went late. But tonight? Early to bed. No excuses.

Here’s the crazy part… Last year, this would’ve wrecked me for a week. Now? I bounce back. Proof that this journey is transforming me from the inside out.

💖 And yes, I’ll say it loud—I LOVE this COMAD diet (Carnivore + One Meal A Day). It’s changing everything.

🥩 Here’s the magic: I ate a full meal yesterday—but only for 30 minutes. Proof that discipline and this diet pays off.

BUT… my blood pressure didn’t love the excitement. It spiked today, so I’m calling a “break day”—which means no fasting or pushing hard. Gotta let the body stabilize.

The win? At least I’m not bingeing on sugar tonight. Just staying steady, focused, and patient while the BP settles.

✨ Back in the healthy range today… just in time for it to climb again since it’s a break day from COMAD.

🚀 What’s Next?

Even on break days, the mission stays the same: Master the long game. This isn’t about being perfect every day—it’s about stacking small wins over time. Rest is part of growth. Today, it’s less about pushing and more about preserving the gains I’ve made.

💡 Reminder: You don’t drown from falling in the water. You drown by staying there. If the plan takes a pause today, tomorrow is a fresh play.

🌟 One Final Thought

“Discipline is choosing between what you want now… and what you want most.” — Abraham Lincoln (or someone equally wise

Today’s lesson? Progress isn’t just numbers on a scale or glucose monitor—it’s learning how to listen to your body, pivot when needed, and trust the process.

I know I say this often in different ways, but it is the most important takeaway from all this. Cooperation with your body, not competition, will win the day. To create a win/win, you can’t be treating your body like an enemy to be conquered, but a friend to be embraced.

Anyway…

See You Tomorrow, my friend! 😊

Warmly,
Paul

Helping people is what lights me up. I’m a curious soul who loves diving into new ideas, uncovering hidden gems of knowledge and sharing what I find. Sometimes, my scientific side takes over, and I overthink things. But I’ve got a creative streak too. There’s an artist in me who loves to dream big and imagine the possibilities. But at my core, if I had to use one word to describe myself—it would be Engineer. I like to build things—whether it’s ideas, solutions, or meaningful connections. So let’s explore, learn, and grow together. I promise to keep it real, keep it fun, and always keep it supportive.
