Day 22: Win after Win – A Journey of Health and Growth

I woke up today after just over 7 hours of sleep, feeling refreshed and genuinely smiling, and I felt a little skinnier too! It’s amazing to wake up in such a positive state—both physically and mentally.

I’m continuing my journey with the Carnivore Diet, and so far, it’s been nothing short of life-changing for me.

But I’ll say this again: it’s not for everyone, and I know a few friends who’ve tried it and struggled, especially in the beginning. For me though, it’s been a game-changer.

If it resonates with your body, I’d definitely say it’s worth giving it a shot.

Daily Progress

Here’s how I’m doing today:

Report
: I lost 2.1 lbs (1 kg) today.

This brings my total weight loss to 21.6 lbs (9.8 kg) over the past 21 days.

That’s an average of about 1 lb (0.47 kg) per day.

The combination of the Carnivore Diet and the OMAD (One Meal A Day) method seems to be a winning formula for me.

I’m feeling fantastic: my energy is high, my sleep is shorter, but deeper, my mood is up, and my inflammation is non-existent. The scale is showing me the lowest weight I’ve seen since I started this journey 3 weeks ago.

Life is good, and it’s getting better every day!

Report: My blood pressure dropped today.

The systolic blood pressure (the first number) went down by 13!

The diastolic blood pressure (the second number) went down by 8.5.

Medications

I’m not on any medications today, and my blood pressure is now well within the healthy range of 90/60 – 120/80.

This is huge progress! This is the lowest my blood pressure has been since I started measuring it 4 years ago!

I’ve been using some breathing techniques that James Nestor talks about in his YouTube video (below), and I’m certain they’ve contributed to my improved numbers. I’m aiming to maintain my BP around 120/80 until I hit my weight goal. After that, I’ll tweak it to ensure it stays in a healthy range.

22 Jan 20254.1
23 Jan 20253.9

Report: My blood glucose dropped by 0.2 today.

This is the lowest I’ve recorded it since I started measuring it 18 months ago!

This is incredible progress in terms of managing my insulin resistance. My body is slowly resetting, and I’m confident that with time, I’ll get everything back to a normal operating procedure.

Still More Reflections

What a day it’s been!

Today feels like a milestone, with my best weight since I began this year, and my best blood pressure and blood glucose readings ever.

These wins are proof to me that I’m on the right track. Reaching the top of the mountain health-wise is just a matter of time now.

Once I’ve nailed down my weight, blood pressure, and glucose levels, I’ll focus on improving other areas like my strength and fitness. They will be much easier once I’m not carrying the extra 60 lbs (27 kg) I started this journey with.

I feel… motivated!

See you tomorrow! 😊

Warmly,
Paul
