I had an excellent sleep last night—7 hours and 40 minutes! And it makes all the difference. I woke up feeling amazing, full of energy, and, honestly, I couldn’t help but laugh. There’s something about getting good sleep that just makes life feel lighter.

Tomorrow night, I’ll be breaking my diet for a family get-together. And Saturday night I’m going to a dinner party. Normally I’d just avoid these things, but this time I think I’ll try something different:
I’ll go off the Carnivore diet for two days in a row. Still only one meal each day, but with carbs on both days.
Short term I expect to gain weight of course. But long term I ‘d like to know what effect it has on all my numbers.

Report: My blood pressure is up today.
My systolic blood pressure (the first number) went up by 2.5.
My diastolic blood pressure (the second number) is up by 1.
I’m still okay with these numbers, but with 2 days of carbs ahead of me, I’ll have to monitor things carefully.

Report: My blood glucose went up by 0.2.
Days within the normal range (3.9–5.6 mmol/L): 46 days out of 49 days.
As expected, staying off carbs keeps my blood sugar in check. This is one of the biggest wins of the Carnivore Diet—stable glucose levels and no crashes.
Half Way
Halfway to Day 100! That’s a big milestone coming up. I’m keeping my focus on consistency rather than perfection. There will be bumps—like tomorrow night’s family gathering—but this isn’t about one meal, one day, or even one week. It’s about the long-term journey.
33.3 lbs (15.1 kg) gone and 25.8 lbs (11.7 kg) to go. I don’t expect it to take another 50 days, but perhaps with my little experiments along the way, it will.
