Round 2, Day 2 – The Carnivore Diet Rhythm

Feeling grounded, strong, and ready for more. That’s how Day 2 of my Carnivore + OMAD journey begins. After just one day back on track, my motivation has taken off. I honestly think my body loves this way of eating as much as I do. Sleep was solid. Focus is sharpening. The fog is lifting. The second day always feels better—you’ve cleared the starting gate, and now the rhythm begins to build.

Daily Progress

Here’s how I’m doing today:

Weight Loss

DateWeight (lbs)
Weight Goal176.4 (80.0 kg)
8 May 2025 – Worst day207.2 (94.0 kg)
10 May 2025 – Day 1203.5 (92.3 kg)
11 May 2025 – Day 2201.9 (91.6 kg)

📉 Today’s Change: -1.6 lbs (0.7 kg)
📉 Total Loss (in 2 days): -5.3 lbs (-2.4 kg)
📉 Average Loss Per Day: -2.7 lbs (-1.2 kg)

Weight is dropping steadily. I wasn’t strict with the eating window today—had three small meals instead of one. But everything stayed clean: beef, chicken, eggs, black coffee, and plenty of water. The momentum is picking up.

Blood Pressure (BP)

DateBP – Before Food

11 May 25 – Day 2155/95163/109159/102

💪 Today’s Systolic Change (1st number): -0.5
💪 Today’s Diastolic Change (2nd number): +15

Forgot my meds again. Got busy and missed the window to take them with food. That’s on me. These readings are a reminder. Tomorrow, I’ll prioritize it. I’m not okay with blood pressure staying this high.

Blood Glucose

DateBlood Glucose – Before Food
(mmol/L)
Blood Glucose Goal4.2
23 Apr 2025 – Worst day7.4
10 May 2025 – Day 16.4
11 May 2025 – Day 26.3

📊 Today’s Change: -0.1 mmol/L
📊 Days in Normal Range (3.9–5.6 mmol/L): 0 out of 2

It’s a small drop— but I’ll take it. I’ve learned not to overlook the small wins. From round one, I know steady drops add up to big success. My body is doing exactly what I hoped it would.

🌤️ Mental Check-In

Motivation’s at an 8 today. I thought about sugar, but only for a moment. That old habit popped up, but it didn’t stick. Journaling helped. So did a quick step outside for some sun.

“Discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most.” — Abraham Lincoln

That quote stuck with me today. I want lasting health more than a quick hit of pleasure. One clear choice at a time.

Tomorrow’s Intention

Stay consistent. Drink more water. Take a short walk after eating. But above all else—write Day 3. Keeping this blog going keeps me going.

See you tomorrow! 😊

Warmly,
Paul

Helping people is what lights me up. I’m a curious soul who loves diving into new ideas, uncovering hidden gems of knowledge and sharing what I find. Sometimes, my scientific side takes over, and I overthink things. But I’ve got a creative streak too. There’s an artist in me who loves to dream big and imagine the possibilities. But at my core, if I had to use one word to describe myself—it would be Engineer. I like to build things—whether it’s ideas, solutions, or meaningful connections. So let’s explore, learn, and grow together. I promise to keep it real, keep it fun, and always keep it supportive.
