Day 26: A New Energy and No Limits

Today is one of those days that reminds me just how powerful this journey really is. It’s going to be busy, and I’m so glad I’m on the Carnivore Diet.

It’s giving me the energy I need to tackle everything on my plate.

The best part? I don’t have to rely on willpower or discipline as much anymore.

My motivation is at an all-time high, and because of that, I feel like I can do anything I set my mind to.

This transformation is not just physical. It’s changing how I see myself and what I believe is possible.

The freedom I feel from pain is something I never expected to experience again, and I’m incredibly happy about that.

It’s moments like this that keep me going. The rewards of consistency and discipline are definitely worth it.

Daily Progress

Here’s how I’m doing today:

Weight Loss

DateWeight (lbs)

2 Jan 2025 – Day 1235.5 (106.8 kg)
9 Jan 2025 – Week 1224.6 (101.9 kg)
16 Jan 2025 – Week 2217.4 (98.6 kg)
23 Jan 2025 – Week 3213.9 (97.0 kg)
24 Jan 2025213.9 (97.0 kg)
25 Jan 2025213.2 (96.7 kg)
26 Jan 2025211.0 (95.7 kg)
27 Jan 2025211.0 (95.7 kg)

Report: I lost 0 lbs (0 kg) today.

This brings my total to 24.5 lbs (11.1 kg) in 25 days.

That’s an average of just under 1.0 lb (0.44 kg) per day.

Even though there was no weight loss today, I’m confident that over the long haul, the combination of the Carnivore Diet and OMAD (One Meal A Day) will continue to show results.

I’m not worried about a single day of zero gain. I’ll stay consistent with the plan and check back tomorrow.

Report: My blood pressure went up and down today.

My systolic blood pressure (the first number) went up by 1.

My diastolic blood pressure (the second number) went down by 1.

The systolic blood pressure reading is still in the “Stage 1 high blood pressure” range (130/80–139/89), but only just. I’ll keep monitoring it and decide whether I need medications or not.

Otherwise, I expect it to continue gradually dropping as I lose weight.

Medications

From now on, I’ll only update this section if I take any medications and have something to report.

Blood Glucose

25 Jan 20254.6
26 Jan 20254.2
27 Jan 20254.1

Report: My blood glucose went down by 0.1 today.

It’s now been in the normal range (3.9–5.6 mmol/L) for 21 out of the last 25 days.

My blood glucose level is boringly good, and that’s exactly how I want it to be.

Sticking to my Plan

It’s easy to feel discouraged when progress isn’t immediately visible, but I know that sticking to my plan will pay off in the long run.

Today, I walked over 10,000 steps – something I haven’t done in over 12 years. The last time I walked that far was before I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my left knee.

This is one of the real miracles I’m experiencing on the Carnivore Diet.

The inflammation that used to be constant and painful is barely there. It’s almost unbelievable how much less I hurt now.

Here’s the best part:

  1. I don’t feel pain anywhere near the levels I used to.
  2. Any discomfort I feel from pushing myself, like walking longer than I have in years, goes away in hours – not days – like it used to.
  3. I can do more, for longer, and I recover much, much quicker!

I’ll keep doing the work, and I’m looking forward to seeing where I am a week from now, with this kind of positive thinking and real-world gains.

See you tomorrow! 😊

Warmly,
Paul
