Day 35: A Burst of Energy and Joy

Waking up today, I’m feeling a level of energy that’s hard to describe — and all on just six hours of sleep! This is the kind of energy that makes me want to jump into action, doing things I would have avoided for years. When I feel this way, I know the future is amazing.

At 64, with over three decades of overthinking almost everything, from philosophy, to using quantum theory to unlock energy, life feels like an endless opportunity for growth.

This experience is so expansive that words can’t quite do it justice — it’s like living in a state of exhilaration, no drugs involved, just the power of food.

So, let me just say it: I’m feeling amazing, the best I’ve ever felt. Multiply that by ten. 😊

Daily Progress

Here’s how I’m doing today:

Weight Loss

DateWeight (lbs)
Weight Goal176.0 (80.0 kg)
2 Jan 2025 – Day 1235.5 (106.8 kg)
31 Jan 2025 – Month 1209.4 (95.0 kg)
1 Feb 2025208.8 (94.7 kg)
2 Feb 2025212.3 (96.3 kg)
3 Feb 2025211.0 (95.7 kg)
4 Feb 2025204.4 (92.7 kg)
5 Feb 2025204.8 (92.9 kg)

Report: I gained 0.4 lbs (0.2 kg) today.

Total Loss: 29.7 lbs (13.9 kg) in 34 days

Average Loss Per Day: 0.87 lb (0.41 kg)

After losing 5.6 lbs (3 kg) the previous day, I expected more of a rebound, but I’m happy with how things have levelled out. Honestly, after my wild 6 kg (11.2 lbs) loss in a single day once, many years ago, due to a brutal no-water fast (which I don’t recommend), I’m now aiming for steady, sustainable progress.

I’m glad that the weight loss has been real and lasting — no tricks, no temporary water loss, just results.

Report: My blood pressure went up and down today.

My systolic blood pressure (the first number) went up by 3.5.

My diastolic blood pressure (the second number) dropped by 1.5.

The numbers are still within a range that feels comfortable, and I know that with each passing day, as my weight continues to drop, my BP will follow suit and stabilize at even better levels.

Blood Glucose

4 Feb 20253.7
5 Feb 20254.4

Report: My blood glucose went up by 0.7 today.

Days within the normal range (3.9–5.6 mmol/L): 29 out of 31

After a few days of lower readings, my blood glucose is back in the normal range, which feels much better. I’ve now had 29 out of 31 days where my glucose has stayed within the healthy range, and I’m confident that as I progress, these numbers will continue to improve.

Exercise

I walked just over 1,000 steps. While that’s typical for me, I recognize it’s time to push for more. A few days of inactivity can throw me off course, but I’m planning a big exercise day soon. That’ll be a game-changer for breaking free from this slump.

Looking Ahead

Every part of this journey feels like progress, even the small parts. I’m not perfect, and there are times when I feel like I could be doing more, but I’m learning to trust the process. Each day, I feel stronger, healthier, and more energized.

I’ll keep tracking everything closely, and I look forward to seeing where I am tomorrow.

Thanks for following along with me on this journey. It’s not just about losing weight; it’s about regaining energy, vitality, and joy in life, and to keep pushing toward my goals.

See you tomorrow! 😊

Warmly,
Paul
