Day 41 – Feeling Amazing by Eating Less, Less Often

I’m starting to get used to waking up feeling great again. No dull aches or sharp pains—just energy and clarity. Life feels so much easier when you’re not fighting through discomfort each day.

Right now, my life is busy, and I’m grateful that I have the energy to keep up with everything. I can’t imagine trying to do all this while on the Standard American Diet (SAD), especially how I was at the end of last year.

One of the best decisions I made recently was starting this blog and sharing my journey every day. Writing it down has held me accountable and kept me committed to my Carnivore Diet longer than I ever have before.

And if you’ve been following along, you’ve seen just how many positive changes I’ve experienced already, even in just the first month and a half!

Daily Progress

Here’s how I’m doing today:

Weight Loss

DateWeight (lbs)
Weight Goal176.0 (80.0 kg)
2 Jan 2025 – Day 1235.5 (106.8 kg)
31 Jan 2025 – Month 1209.4 (95.0 kg)
6 Feb 2025 – Week 5204.4 (92.7 kg)
7 Feb 2025206.4 (93.6 kg)
8 Feb 2025204.2 (92.6 kg)
9 Feb 2025207.5 (94.1 kg)
10 Feb 2025210.3 (95.4 kg)
11 Feb 2025205.0 (93.0 kg)

Report: I dropped 5.3 lbs (2.4 kg) today.

Total Loss: 30.5 lbs (13.8 kg) in 40 days

Average Loss Per Day: 0.76 lbs (0.35 kg)

When I see such a big drop in weight in one day, I can’t help but wonder if the scales are broken. But I’ll wait a day to see if the weight stays off or if it was just an anomaly.

It would be great to have a dedicated weighing room where everything is balanced and checked regularly, but for now, I’m just a regular guy with limited means. So, I’ll have to be patient and see what tomorrow brings.

Report: My blood pressure dropped a little today.

My systolic blood pressure (the first number) stayed the same.

My diastolic blood pressure (the second number) decreased by 2.

I’m confident that these numbers will keep dropping as I stick with my COMAD (Carnivore + One Meal A Day) diet. I just need to keep at it, and I know I’ll reach my goal. .

9 Feb 20256.5
10 Feb 20255.4
11 Feb 20255.0

Report: My blood glucose dropped by 0.4.

Days within the normal range (3.9–5.6 mmol/L): 37 days out of 40 days.

I’m happy with these numbers. As I’ve mentioned before, as long as I stay in the normal range, I’m making progress toward my ultimate goal of eliminating insulin resistance!

Keep Moving Forward

“Never give up; never give in. Never quit and never surrender.”

Every step, every day, brings us closer to our best selves. But if we stop, we won’t get anywhere. Obviously. 😊

See you tomorrow! 😊

Warmly,
Paul

Helping people is what lights me up. I’m a curious soul who loves diving into new ideas, uncovering hidden gems of knowledge and sharing what I find. Sometimes, my scientific side takes over, and I overthink things. But I’ve got a creative streak too. There’s an artist in me who loves to dream big and imagine the possibilities. But at my core, if I had to use one word to describe myself—it would be Engineer. I like to build things—whether it’s ideas, solutions, or meaningful connections. So let’s explore, learn, and grow together. I promise to keep it real, keep it fun, and always keep it supportive.
