Day 56 – Running on Resilience—Less Sleep, More Energy

I love the Carnivore Diet. Last night, I was up late working on submissions, got only three hours of sleep, and yet—I feel fine. No brain fog, no sluggishness, no dragging myself through the day. Just steady, sustained energy.

I’d write more, but honestly, my workload is massive right now. It’s not that I don’t want to write. I do. But when your schedule is packed to the brim, something has to give. And today, that’s the length of this post.

Still, I can’t get over how much more I fit into a week now compared to what used to take me a month. The mental sharpness, the efficiency, the sheer ability to power through—it’s incredible.

Daily Progress

Here’s how I’m doing today:

Report: I lost 2.7 lbs (1.2 kg) today.

Total Loss: 34.7 lbs (15.7 kg) in 55 days.

Average Loss Per Day: 0.63 lbs (0.29 kg).

Dropping my portion size to one-third of normal worked. But I also think taking two days off the diet instead of just one, and “resetting”, made a difference. Interesting to see how these small changes affect the numbers.

Reflections on the Journey

Today, every metric is moving in the right direction. And while I don’t have time for a deep dive, I want to pause and appreciate how far I’ve come.

Six months ago, I never would have believed I’d be here—losing weight, controlling my health, and feeling more alive than I have in years.

What’s making this work?

1️⃣ Consistency. Even when life gets busy, I stick to the plan as best I can.
2️⃣ Adaptation. I’m learning what works for my body—tweaking portion sizes, adjusting fasting, and seeing what gives me the best results.
3️⃣ Mindset. This isn’t a diet. It’s a way of life. And the more I lean into it, the better I feel.

Well, that’s about it. 3 hours sleep and with over 23 hours of work later, even on this diet and eating system, I’m starting to tire.

And I’ll be up again in another four and a half hours to do it all over again.

So, I’ll say “see ya”!

Warmly,
Paul

Helping people is what lights me up. I’m a curious soul who loves diving into new ideas, uncovering hidden gems of knowledge and sharing what I find. Sometimes, my scientific side takes over, and I overthink things. But I’ve got a creative streak too. There’s an artist in me who loves to dream big and imagine the possibilities. But at my core, if I had to use one word to describe myself—it would be Engineer. I like to build things—whether it’s ideas, solutions, or meaningful connections. So let’s explore, learn, and grow together. I promise to keep it real, keep it fun, and always keep it supportive.
