Day 59 – Carnivore Diet + OMAD: My Perfect Combo

Alright, four hours of sleep a night just isn’t cutting it. I’ve been running on fumes, and it’s starting to show—not just in my work, but in how I feel. I expect more from myself, and I know I can do better.

So, it’s time for a change.

Last night, I crashed at 10:30 pm and didn’t wake up until 9:00 am That’s 10.5 hours of sleep—the most I’ve gotten in a single night this year! Clearly, my body needed it.

Of course, I woke up feeling refreshed and full of energy, just like always. But it got me thinking: if I needed that much sleep while on my Carnivore + OMAD (One Meal A Day) Diet, then something in my routine was off.

So, I’m making an adjustment. Instead of eating in the evening, I’ll move my meal to the morning and take my vitamins and minerals around noon. That way, I’ll have steady energy throughout the workday and, hopefully, feel naturally tired at night—leading to better sleep.

As I’ve said from the start, this diet is an experiment. My goal weight of 176 lbs (80 kg) is set in stone, but the way I get there? That’s flexible. I adjust as I go, making changes based on what works best for my body. And I’m excited to see how this shift will affect my numbers.

Taking a NoMAD (No Meals A Day) fasting day paid off! This is my third-best weight loss day of the year.

Funny thing—someone I hadn’t seen since last weekend stopped me and said, “It looks like you’ve lost weight!”

I smiled and said, “Yep, 9.5 pounds!”

She blinked. “In a week?”

“Yes. And I feel great!”

She was stunned, and honestly, I was too when I said it out loud.

The crazy part? I didn’t even realize how much I’d lost until someone else asked. That’s how normal this has become for me. I expect the weight to keep dropping now—it’s no longer something I worry about or obsess over.

I’ve found what works for me. But let me be clear: what works for me might not work for you. Everyone’s body is different. The only way to find your ideal diet is to experiment. If you’re struggling, talk to your doctor, make adjustments, and discover what fuels you best.

✅ I can tell you this—life is so much better now that I’ve found mine.

My blood sugar keeps dropping without me doing anything. That’s the magic of this diet—it’s not about forcing discipline.

With 100% motivation and 0% discipline required, I eat when I want to, as much as I want to, for as long as I want to, and fast when I want to, and my body takes care of the rest. This way of eating gives me everything I need and takes nothing away.
