Day Ten: Accidental Fasting – Just Too Busy to Eat

Today was a whirlwind of activity. Although the drive was shorter, I was so busy once I arrived that I didn’t have time to eat.

Surprisingly, it wasn’t a struggle—my zero appetite made it easy to focus on everything else. That said, it’s doesn’t feel like much of a Carnivore Diet journey if there’s no meat involved, right?

While I could probably keep fasting like this for weeks, I plan to eat tomorrow.

Partly because I need to monitor my results with food in the mix, and partly because I hate wasting food. If I don’t eat soon, I’ll end up wasting some perfectly good meals, and that’s not my style.

My Daily Progress

Weight Loss

DateWeight (lbs)
2 Jan 2025 – Day 1235.5 (106.8 kg)
9 Jan 2025 – Week 1224.6 (101.9 kg)
10 Jan 2025222.9 (101.1 kg)
11 Jan 2025218.9 (99.3 kg)

Report: Down 4 lbs (1.8 kg) today! That’s my best single-day result yet, bringing my total weight loss to 16.6 lbs (6.8 kg) in nine days. Fasting all day gave a significant boost to the progress.

Tomorrow, I’ll be at a BBQ and plan to eat in the early afternoon. With zero appetite, it’ll be a controlled 3-hour eating window—no grazing or overindulgence.

Blood Pressure (BP)

Report: BP is showing some fluctuation, but overall it’s trending downward.

Systolic blood pressure

The first number, which measures the pressure in your arteries when your heart beats, is down by 4.

Diastolic blood pressure

The second number, which measures the pressure in your arteries when your heart rests between beats, is up by 2.

While it’s a bit inconsistent, I’m still confident both numbers will stabilize and fall as my weight continues to drop.

Blood Glucose

9 Jan 2025 – Week 14.6

Report: My blood glucose hit its lowest point yet—4.1 mmol/L!

I’ve been in the normal range (3.9 to 5.6 mmol/L) for six of the last nine days. Reaching this milestone so quickly is exciting and motivating.

The Easiest Long Trip I’ve Ever Done!

Two days on the road with no food, and I feel more alert than I ever did—even when I was younger. Back then, I could drive for 20 hours straight, but it never felt this effortless or focused.

I’ve got energy to spare—no energy dips, no need for naps, just a steady, productive rhythm all day long. I didn’t dig any ditches today, but I did tackle everything on my to-do list with ease. This sustained energy is a gift I’ll never take for granted.

Life feels great right now, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me next.

See you tomorrow with another update! 😊

Warmly,
Paul
