Even after just seven days on a COMAD diet (Carnivore + One Meal A Day), I’m down 9 pounds and full of energy. My blood sugar is back in range, my focus is sharp, and even though I didn’t sleep enough last night, I woke up feeling great—and ready to take on the day.I woke up feeling amazing this morning. Not enough sleep but ready for the day none the less.
💡 Woke Up Ready
Motivation is strong because I feel amazing.
This morning, I felt so clear and focused. I didn’t sleep long enough, but I didn’t need to—my energy picked me up. It reminded me how powerful this way of eating really is. When COMAD works, it really works. It makes me wonder why I ever stop doing it.
But then… sugar.
Even after whole years without it, sugar still calls to me. Maybe it’s not just habit. Maybe it’s something deeper—biological, not just emotional. I’ll dig into the science behind that when I have time (LOL—maybe next year!). For now, I’m just noting it as part of the journey.
Daily Progress
Here’s how I’m doing today:
Weight Loss

| 10 May 2025 – Day 1 | 203.5 (92.3 kg) |
| 11 May 2025 – Day 2 | 201.9 (91.6 kg) |

| 15 May 2025 – Day 6 | 198.2 (89.9 kg) |
| 16 May 2025 – Day 7 | 198.2 (89.9 kg) |
📉 Today’s Change: -0 lbs (0 kg)
📉 Total Loss (in 7 days): -9 lbs (-4.1 kg)
📉 Average Loss Per Day: -1.29 lbs (-0.59 kg)
I seem to have hit a plateau—but hey, I didn’t gain! That’s a win. I’ve got a dinner tomorrow where I didn’t choose a carnivore meal, so I’ll take a short break from the diet and then start fresh Monday. This time, I know how to get back on track fast because of everything I learned during my first round earlier this year. Two days off rather than one is my perfect break overall.

💪 Today’s Systolic Change (1st number): +1.5
💪 Today’s Diastolic Change (2nd number): +2.5
I’ve decided to make Sunday my “meds day” and take them weekly to start. If I don’t see results, I’ll shift to twice a week and track what changes. The goal is to reduce variables and clearly see what’s working. I like this plan—it feels steady and smart.
Blood Glucose
| Date | Blood Glucose – Before Food (mmol/L) |
| Blood Glucose Goal | 4.2 |
| 23 Apr 2025 – Worst day | 7.4 |
| 10 May 2025 – Day 1 | 6.4 |
| 11 May 2025 – Day 2 | 6.3 |
| 12 May 2025 – Day 3 | 4.6 |
| 13 May 2025 – Day 4 | 5.2 |
| 14 May 2025 – Day 5 | 4.3 |
| 15 May 2025 – Day 6 | 4.7 |
| 16 May 2025 – Day 7 | 4.4 |
📊 Today’s Change: -0.3 mmol/L
📊 Days in Normal Range (3.9–5.6 mmol/L): 5 out of 7
This is such a great result. It feels empowering to see a number that I can change through food alone. Blood pressure is trickier, but blood sugar? That’s mine to control. The less willpower needed, the better—and this diet makes that surprisingly easy.
🔋 Energy Levels
I’m calm, focused, and full of life.
Today, my energy was sky high. It’s already past midnight as I write this, and I’m still feeling good. I did have a short energy dip this afternoon, but it passed quickly. Since I don’t eat breakfast or lunch anymore, I know that lull wasn’t about food. My life is so much simpler now—and I love it.
🌟 Trust the Process
If you’re feeling stuck or scattered, start by simplifying one thing—your food. When you get your diet right, everything else starts falling into place: weight, glucose, even your mood and mindset. Don’t try to fix it all at once. Just focus on eating in a way that fuels you—and let the rest unfold from there.
Have a great day everyone!
See You Soon! 😊
Warmly,
Paul
