Round 2, Day 72 – Show Up, Stay Strong, Rinse and Repeat

Woke up without the alarm today—my usual weekend rhythm. A full 8 hours of solid rest. That alone is a victory worth celebrating. 🛌✨
Sure, I went to bed a little too late, and yeah, that squeezed my morning, but I still got up strong, and I’m still showing up. That’s what matters.

Sometimes success isn’t about getting it all perfect. It’s about doing the next right thing—even when time is tight and temptation knocks.

As Tony Robbins said:

“It’s not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.”

And consistent discipline can move worlds—your little one first, then the big one next.

⚖️ Daily Progress:

Here’s how I’m doing today.

✅ Today’s Change: +0.9 lb (0.4 kg)
📉 Total Loss (in 72 days): -24 lbs (-10.9 kg)
📊 Average Loss Per Day: -0.33 lbs (-0.15 kg)

The scale bumped up a little today—
📈 +0.9 lbs (0.4 kg) overnight.
But here’s what I know: We’re right on the edge of a breakthrough. This kind of small rise often comes right before a big drop. 💥

Strategy Update: I’m thinking about closing out this cycle with a 72-hour fast. When I’ve done that before, something shifts. My body locks into the new low weight like it’s the new normal. And that makes maintenance easier down the road.

I’ve been testing something big:
Can my body regulate blood pressure on its own?
Today’s answer: Yes, it can—and it just did. 💪

No pills. Just food, movement, and commitment.
It feels like my body finally trusts me to take the lead—and it’s following. That’s not just health progress. That’s rebuilding a partnership with yourself.

Not worried. These shifts happen, especially around stress, sleep, and recovery. What matters is the trend, and the trend says: I’m getting better every week.

✨ Momentum Beats Perfection

I didn’t hit every number perfectly today. But here’s the part that makes me proud:
I didn’t skip a beat.
I tracked it. Faced it. Learned from it. Then wrote it down to share with you.

That’s the habit that changes lives—not perfection, but honesty + effort + repetition.

“Discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most.”
—Abraham Lincoln (or maybe someone wiser than Google gives credit for)

😊 See You Tomorrow, My Friend

Still aiming forward. Still showing up. Still grateful to be me.

Warmly,
Paul
